David Maderich
David Maderich is among the most highly regarded celebrity makeup artists in the beauty industry. Not only has he perfected the faces of hundreds of models, he has over 100 magazine covers to his credit; and is the go-to artist for celebrities such as Kate Hudson, Gisele, Drew Barrymore, Pink, Bruce Springsteen, the late Prince and Nancy O’Dell.
David’s beauty expertise is frequently featured and quoted in national platforms and magazines including Cosmopolitan, Elle, New York Magazine, In Touch, Glamour, Modern Salon, Web MD, The Today Show, The LA Times and Conde Nast Traveler.
David writes his own beauty articles for Modern Salon, Celebrity Everything and Serafino Says that feature how-tos and product advice.
He was a contributor to the book “The Hair, Makeup and Styling Career Guide” and he was also the beauty editor for World Bride International magazine.
As a personality in the beauty industry, David’s 20-year career has been profiled in numerous magazines and blogs. Since 2010, David has been nominated seven times (winning in 2018) for a prestigious NAHA (North American Hairdressing Awards) as Makeup Artist of the Year.
As an educator, David is a founding member of Modern Salon’s Artist Session - a two-day seminar dedicated to teaching beauty professionals the skill to produce and art direct photo shoots.
As a consultant, David has helped develop new products for Your Name Cosmetics - the largest private label cosmetic company in theUSA. He has also worked in product development for Lancome and Dior Cosmetics.
David was born in the U.K. and earned a degree in journalism from the University of Minnesota. He is based in New York City.
